Here's a little thank you image from John to everyone on the forum who pitched in with their thoughts on uniform details for the upcoming Fighting Drummer of Barrel's 5th. - This beautiful sculpt is an English piper of the 35th Rgmt. for the F&I War/Seven Years War range. - But be patient, he won't be released until Spring of next year.

That is a beautiful figure! I like the facial expression and the purposeful stride.

Prost!

I hope that John is also making a DRUMMER to go with the fifer :)

Then we need the colour party, an officer and a Sergeant to keep the troops in-line :)

Looking good...

John

in addition to the single figures woul be nice a limited four figures set like the marching one, two fifers and two drummers.
Cheers

Looks like my request for a drummer has been answered ...

It says he from Culloden, but what the heck, he sure looks good ???

I really like the new club figure from the 55th Foot Regiment. One of my favorites in recent memory. It raises hope that John might do a "Death of Lord Howe" set complete with Capt. Moneypenny (how can you not make him with a name like that?). And maybe some members of the 80th Light Foot in their brownish uniforms.

The red coated George Washington is still MIA and for me is approaching the status of a "Holy Grail", but it will eventually appear when least expected. Could easily drop in a Lt. Colonel Gage here as a second figure for historical musing (American Revolution).

Others Captain/Major/Lt. Colonel William Eyres of the 44th -- outstanding British Officer. Preference is as a Captain, white linen trousers ......... BoM, Ticonderoga.

Officer Meeting/Gathering/Conference at Ticonderoga. Maybe 6 -8 officers total.

Agreed! Would love to have both the 80th and the 55th in some fightin' poses!

I've been told (by a very good source) to expect two new canoe sets before the year is over. Sorry no further details.

I'm always hoping to see a couple of long canoes with Indian rowers and French or British soldiers aboard. This is just an idea...
