Very nice Michael! I will have to get one of these to display my Jenkins in.

Missed seeing your playtime last night but it's been a nice way of enjoying it this this AM with my first cup of coffee.......The Lt.

Ty Joe, ty Titus.........I made those trees yesterday.

Sculpey bases, found some twigs for trees, glued the tree in, painted the bases, snowed the bases and trunks........easy and came out good......pretty cheap.......and they work for me.

Another nice scene. Just don't leave your figures in the Woodland Scenics snow too long since it tends to corrode/discolor the bottom of the bases somewhat and the JJD paper labels too. I use white felt on the bottom of my winter football cases and although not as realistic does not harm the figures. I only use the powdered snow for temporary photo setups and then carefully use a soft camel hair brush to clean it off the figure as soon as I'm done. I learned this a couple of Christmases back when I discovered that my K&C Bulge figures had been affected after being in the display a few weeks. The dark brown bottom took on a whitish hue. There are other brands of "snow" which may not cause the problem although I haven't tested them.

Thank you Randy.......I did not know this.......very good information to share, thank you.

Yeah Mike I put it on my blockhouse and cabin with a base mixture that comes with one of the snow kits and could never get it all off.

Thank you Mark, after Randy said that, I looked at my post pictures in snow, picked out all the boxes of figures I used, re-opened them, inspected them and recleaned them.....thank you.

I don't see any damage whatsoever............but............better safe than sorry, thanks again.

I had left it on for a few months plus I had used the base mixture to make the snow stick better.Live and learn.

I just used Woodland Scenic's Soft Flake Snow SN140 by itself and they were only immersed in the snow for an hour at most...........I can see no damage at all but I will keep my eye on them.....thanks again.

My figures were in the WS snow for about a month before I noticed any discoioration. If you rotate figures in and out that might help. Also Pete Reuss suggested JG snow as a substitute for WS. He says it will not harm anything.
I think WS may have a salt-like effect--like in the witner here in the Northeast when it gets on your shoes from the trucks salting the slippery roads,

Nice work Mike on the display box and trees. The scene looks great. Ken Osen sells snow but I don't know if his product has any side effects. I know it will stick to trees if the tree is wet before applying. Leadmen

Excellent display, Mike. The Snowshoes figures are great: unique in subject and detail, and they make for a magnificent diorama. Well done.

Thank you Randy........I have used the WS snow about 6 times and have not seen a problem yet.

Thanks for the compliment John.

Marquis de Montcalm, thank you too, I see you are new on here, glad to have another Jenkin's fan aboard and welcome to the forum.
