Two hours long this rather dark film holds your attention, great effects, some liberties from the fairy tale, but to it's advantage, was not disappointed and I was ready to be. The main characters all believable, some well known dwarfes like Bob Hoskins. Certainly worth your time. Cheers, Robin.

Yep, I'll agree with you on that assessment. I went with the wife, but not really looking forward to the movie. I think I enjoyed it more than she did. NOTE, It is "NOT" your Walt Disney movie so think hard about taking any kids. -- Larry
