I don't know how the people in the states and Canada north of me can take it.We have had more snow in the last 2 years with more on the way than the last 10 combined.:(It just disruptes everything.I live about 15 miles from work but all the roads I take are back roads.Thank god I got a 4 wheel drive a couple of years ago.To their credit the road crews are getting better and better.

I don't know how they do it...or how you do it either...

the other day I talked to Mestell in Wisconsin...

and the numbers he was throwing around were not comprehensible to me or my friends...

he was telling me it was in the 20's with a wind chill of minus degrees...

and colder weather was coming...

that day I worked in the yard and was sweating...

I could not live in that climate...

when it gets in the mid 50's here...we are screaming "mercy"...

those brutal cold temps make my body hurt...

If I was younger I might have to trek down your way but I know someone who has a brother down there and she said the heat in San Antonio was brutal.:eek:I can't win.:(:D

I guess it's all relative, I don't mind the cold here in Boston, never have, never will..........San Antonio; wow, God bless you, was down there in June several years ago, when I got off the plane, I felt like I was a mile from the Sun.

The humidity is beyond brutal, doesn't cool off a lick at night either. Just walking from the house to the car I looked like someone threw me in the pool.........I hate the heat, so uncomfortable, try loading and unloading a van and humping the stuff back and forth at a show in PA in August, I'm ready to pass out after that, thanks but no thanks...................

It does get in the 90's for a couple of weeks...but you can deal with heat a lot better than cold...

we never have our postal services stopped...

never have roads closed...

stores, restaurants and merchants are open every day...even if it's 95 degrees outside...

grass is always green...golf courses always open...city services never stopped for heat...

and don't forget...the bikinis...:D

I like cool weather too but not this cold.Jersey is humid in the summer and I hate it but I hear that it's not as bad as Texas.Just give me spring and fall and I'll be happy:)

Spring and fall sound good to me. In fact, summer should be banned. I used to like hot weather but that was many years and pounds ago. Now, if the temp goes over 70, I'm looking for AC. I'll never move further south because of that. Love the cool-cold air. Don't have much use for ice or snow, but I'll take that every day of the week over 90+ temps.
Just can't deal with the heat and humidity anymore. -- Al

Mark move to Windsor, Ontario. :D:D I just got home and the temp was about 32F The sun was shining all afternoon and I had on just jeans, tshirt and a hoodie. We probably have about 1/4" of snow and that is just on the grass as it is almost gone from the roads, sidewalks etc...
