the brown truck dropped off my jenkins BOS figures from george this afternoon. just had a chance to look at them at length... what can i say "STUNNING". i just started a 30"x12" diarama, foam base, with a low hill at each end. foliage is BAR winter trunks, JG large winter birch trees, winter saplings, winter bushes, winter grass, Dept 56 snowy scotch pines and probably the nicest winter trees of all, Dept 56 Peoquot Pines with snow. without any finishing, just a basic start, placing the pieces it looks unbelievable.... john has done it again... but with 30 something figures to this set, going to need larger space. probably john's best work yet... the detailing is unbelievable. who ever starts this series, you certainly wont be disappointed......

I received mine today as well pugio.

They are quite amazing, the detail, paint, and realism are incredible. I was speechless upon opening each of the sets.

I also got my sets yesterday from Sierra. The boxes were smashed to hell thank to fed-ex but the figures were fine. I agree with Lenswerks, these figures are excellent, and I’m already looking forward to next months releases.

On a side note to any venders out there attending the HMGS convention in Gettysburg this weekend, I will be looking to purchase several set of French infantry from the siege of Quebec line.

I think George will be there from Minutemen Toy Soldiers. He carries JJ figures. They are also sold at the Antique Center at 30 Baltimore Street near the main square in Gettysburg.

I received all the new BOS sets yesterday. The best yet - at least until next month. Thanks again George.

I completely agree with the previous posts. These Snow Shoe fellows are incredible and the best yet. Thank you very much John. :):):):):)

Gents,

I finally took the plunge and have just ordered the French BOS sets with the Brit sets for the London show from Mark at TMTerrain. I been recently trying to cut the ranges I collect but just couldn't resist. Oh well its only money......

Andy

Andy, you will not regret your decision. These figures are wonderful.:):):):)

Michael,

I've been thinking about getting them since the first releases last year but decided not to... Do I regret that decision now.

Andy-
Let us know what you think of them. Many of the early sets are still available from dealers. Most everything except BM 01-03.

Guys,

Got the first batch of my soon to be expanding JJ figure collection from TMTerrain today and must admit I was not disappointed. What some people say about the photographs not doing them justice is very true.

From one happy customer,:)

Hi Andy

Glad you liked them. John has just emailed to say the next release will be heading to our shores in the next few days so will be with us in plenty of time for the London show on the 2nd.
If you want anymore before then you know where to find us!

By the way, John will be at the show again. He has asked me to make a piece of terrain to display some new figures- something about a new range so I can't wait to find out!

A new range sounds very exciting. Anybody have any guesses on what the subject will be? My hope is for the battle of fort Ticonderoga or the death of Lord Howe. The battle of fort necessity is also high on my wish list.

my wish also is for the battle of ticonderoga.... however i think its going to be french/indian attacks on the new england farming communities (blockhouse, civilians), culminating with the famous/infamous rogers rangers raid againt the abanaki's at saint francais.

A new range is exciting news. If it is French-Indian War, I would like to see the Battle of Jumonville Glen with a young George Washington. It could also be an entirely new line.
