Somebody put me on some accessories for a JJ's Snowshoe's diorama.

What matches well with his bush tent and the St. Francis log cabin and log hut? I'm getting those pieces along with the full set of soldiers (except the Christmas set).

Looking for trees, stumps, winterized or log buildings, winterized landscaping, French Indian related dio products, bonfires, rocks, canoes, etc...

I have seen the fort but don't want it (well, I want it, but I'm not getting it).

Anybody know the products that blend together the best with the Snowshoes?

I'm not lazy, I'm looking, but it gets overwhelming....any help?

Michael

You just missed a great opportunity to get trees, at Christmas. The craft stores like Michael's and AC Moore, the discount department stores like WalMart, and the big box home improvement places like Home Depot all carried scenic pieces, and then there were some good sales after the holiday. Home Depot had discounts up to 75% on items I saw.

You might still want to take a look in the craft stores and dollar stores, just to see if they might have such items out of season.

Prost!

Brad, Randy thank you.

I have found the obvious pieces that JJ makes (wall/stockade/gates/dock) for his figures and I guess I missed the sale in December on sales (but that sounded sweet).

I was hoping somenody could put me on some specific pieces by other manufacturers with a model number and website that might work well with his pieces.

I found some log cabin sets by jackslogcabins.com, rusticreplicas.com and some build your own on Creative Dollhouse Design. I was hoping somebody had some different stuff to look at.

If you find anything, let me know.

I'm going to wait until I get my order (cabin/hut) in my hand and look at it. Maybe I can just build my own stuff to match it.

Thanks,

Michael

Best evergreen trees were made by Department 56 Pequot Pines, variety of sizes. These are much better than anything else I know about. No longer in production, but they really not hard to find on the web.

Thank you, that's a good tip, I'll check them out, Michael

Michael I"m sorry I should have offered to send you some of the snow from my yard when we talked on the phone earlier this evening for your new Snowshoe figures to play in. I just didn't think to offer it earlier got plenty to spare if you need it.:rolleyes:The Lt.

That's soooooo funny Joe, but you said it was dirty and slushy, so I'll take a pass. :D

How about sending me a terrain for a medieval castle, lol.

Fraxinus, I found those pine trees 56.52818 and they are beautiful, but they have a rock formation base and I want a snow base, but I guess I could cover them with snow and have a tree that works both way. Thanks again, Michael

Hello,
I used winter trees by lemax ,they are better known for they santa villages . They have a web site.
These trees are good looking and not expensive.

Lamiral/Mark, I looked at the Lemax trees. They look very nice and are very affordable, thanks for the lead on the trees.

Michael
