Hello,

I am new to First Legion and interested in collecting the British 1st Foot Guards from the Napoleonic range. I see only 8 figures available for sale...is that a) because only 8 have been released or b) because the others have sold out or retired? And if they have sold out, how long usually before they come back on the website?

If you go to FL's site they have a section called product list and shows everything they have made.The ones in red are no longer available.About half the Foot Guards are in red.

All the figures for this release were put out a couple years back. I think there were 20 or 21 figures all together. You don't see many of them anymore because they are long sold out. You can check with Matt directly, but I wouldn't expect them to be re-released. That usually doesn't happen with First Legion.

Thanks for the info Noah, maybe I will stick with 95th Rifles and try and pick up the 1st Foot on the forum and eBay, although they don't seem to pop up there much either unlike K&C.

Try Ebay UK, if you can find someone who ships to the US. I have seen a lot more FL on there.

Hi Chris Just noticed that there are some of the sold out 1st Foot Guards on e bay with 3 days to run prices arent too bad at this stage of this auction but it will hot up towards the end for the discontinued figures get them as you see them the rare ones dont come along very often, I love mine. Good Luck I think they are on the U.S. site

Hi, thanks for the info...those figures are actually mine haha. As a result of this post and with the help of a very good guy on this forum, I got the entire set of all 18 Foot Guards (minus the mounted figure). However, I don't need all 18 as I am not displaying them in a rank and file format but rather skirmishing around a building, so not all the kneeling/repelling figures are needed. I hope the prices do hot up and the money can cancel out what I paid for the others!

I hope Matt will re-consider re-releasing some of the British Footguards again....This was series I would have liked to collect if I had the chance....But I was busy with the Stalingrad line at the time and could not get into it at the time they were available

I agree, I know it is the nature of the beast but it sucks if you are a newcomer to the hobby/company and were busy with something else but now want a retired set. I worked on the Foot Guards as it seems everything else is still available. Next the artillery set, some more of the 95th, then on to the newer 92nd Highlanders!

Can't wait, but I guess they are relatively new so I should be able to put them on hold...I think the limited release artillery set will go quickly!
