Okay, so I'm the odd one out here, but I actually use the figures to play skirmish games - rules, dice, that sort of thing.

Anyway I thought I had lost some early pictures of a game I ran, and some folks wanted to know what the peat moss looked like that I used for ground cover.

So here are some pictures. They are not dioramas, so not quit as nice as PolarBear and Mikemitchel1955 do. One day I'll get some stuff set up and give it a go. Just too little time and too many things to do. I hope you like them.

These are in my photo album - sorry to make you go off and look somewhere else. I'm still having trouble doing the picture attachment thing.

If anyone wants a copy of the 1 page rules, I would be happy to send them to you. Or if you are near the Washington DC area and would like to try a game, let me know. I'd be happy to set something up.

And PolarBear and Mikemitchel1955 you two have free room and board if you ever travel up this way.

Thanks

Matthew

Mathew...thanks for the pictures of your peat moss...it looks pretty darn good and I bet it's pretty affordable...love that little cliff trail the Indians are waliking on...did you make that piece or buy it...

Hi Michael,

Everything except the trees is scratch built by me. I'm glad you liked it.

Not shown in these photos is a corn field, about 3 by 2 feet that I made from aquarium plants. They did not survive the trip to the show and back again. I still have them I just need to find a time to re-base them in some new material I found.

I think I had another photo uploaded in the diorama section showing Washington with some artillery and the VM sets in front of the corn field.

Some of the rock out cropping are made from the large bark tree mulch you can find. I also have used this type of bark to make sand stone rock for the Sudan. It dry brushes up really nice.
