All the figures I have shown have been painted by me, as the come in grey, gold or silver coloured hard plastic.

Mokarex was (still is?) a French coffee company, that commissioned figures from French history, which it packaged in its coffee as premiums, much like cereal companies here packed toys in boxes of cereal. They covered all of French history, including the Roman era, if I'm not mistaken. You can find the figures on the secondary market, like on eBay or at shows.
