I'm new to this and have noticed that some of you like to put up pictures of your collection for viewing. Thought I'd do the same. I collect WWII.

Really really good dioramas mate.Keep up the good work and post more pictures soon.Simmo:D

Very cool, wwiibuff! I especially like the tank tracks on the first dio.:cool:

Oh, and welcome aboard!:)

The diorama bases in the Tiger dio are from JG miniatures...good stuff.

They all look nicely done. Thanks for sharing them. It's always fun to see what others are doing.

Welcome to the forum wwIIbuff, you'll find plenty of like minded collectors on this forum. I like how you displayed your pieces, they all have a logical purpose/pose, not that random, dropped from the sky look. 007 still holds up well with the newer pieces. Really like that Tommy without the helmet.......I've gotta pick one up someday. Cheers:)

Thanks Cyber Field Marshall. I like to attempt for a diorama to tell a story of some kind ... or at least have the viewer use their imagination as to what might be happening in the scene. What is the infantryman on the ground telling the tank commander?, Why is he pointing?, Where is the sergeant telling his men to go?, Why is the Airborne soldier holding up his hand to stop the oncoming tank?, etc. It's fun for me to arrange the different pieces/men to make a new scene (even using the same bases over and over just changing the models). I'm not sure my wife can really appreciate it like I would hope and she's about the main one that gets to see the dioramas besides me (at least before I started posting them on this forum). Anyway, thanks for noticing.
