A few Allies.

Actually in true Dragon form this is a captured Sherman Firefly with German markings.

That is some cool stuff, I have been tempted, but I have not made the move into 1/72 yet. I can picture a massive Diorama with a lot of tanks and soldiers. Alex

I'm with you Alex. The 1/87 and 1/72 scales seem to have such a wide variety of quality collectables and I too can imagine a very large battle scene in a smaller space (compared to 1/30 and 1/32). The 1/50 scale seems to have a lot of variety and quality also. Too bad. Only so much money, time and space and so many toys are available. Anyway, if you do get started in the smaller scales, please post your dios for us, the large scale ones look fantastic.

This is fantastic.....Ask and you will receive............ Ronnie from Crossroads said he would back a 1/72 and a 1/50 Diorama. Oh man this is going to be fun and challenging. Don't expect anything for about 2 months I have to plan this out first. Alex

I will welcome some ideas................

Alex,
I'd suggest as tempting as it may be to do a large project, you should start out with something small and go from there, like say, oh I don't know, how about either The Battle of Kursk of The Battle of Stalingrad, both on a one to one scale......................

Alex,
All kidding aside, imagine if you did a section of The Battle of Kursk on say a 8' by 5' table, with about 150 tanks, 500 figures, terrain, etc, that would be stunning. Let me know when you are in the planning stages on this as 20mm is my bag and I'll be glad to assist you in any way I can. I've currently got a customer doing the landings along the seawall at Tarawa in 1/72nd scale.................
