It looks like I need to do some research into this figure, becasue at first glance, I thought British Infantry!

But he has French Gaiters, and his Belgic Shako features the Hanovarian Horse.

The waterbottle/bayonet/bag is British, but no back pack, just a folded blanket........

I'll be back........

I've checked a number of book, and the only uniform that fits this figures will have to be

HANVOVER Light Battalion , Luenberg 1815

Reason is the Belgic Shako with white horse of Hanover on the front.

My references are:

OSPREY Men At Arms # 206 Plate E3

and

Knoetel Uniforms seen below

This is TGM going and doing those rare and different regiments that big makers don't go near.... WELL DONE !!!!

Hannoverian regulars were virtually indistinguishable from British infantry (aside from their shako plates). Regulars wore red coats. However, John is right; the horse plate suggests Luneburg Light, and his illustration is the most likely livery. Here are a few more examples of Hanoverian uniforms of roughly this period.

TGM Naps seem to have dried up recently.
Whatever happened to those fantastic Hanoverians in greatcoats? The sculpts were there one minute and then nothing.
I would like to see these released at some stage.
Anyone else think likewise?
Paul

Maybe Tom is waiting for next year as its the Bi-Centenary of The Battle of Waterloo, so I'd expect a lot of Napoleonic era figures to be out then, much like the rush of WW1 figures that were released this year.

Also remember that it can take about 12 months to go from sculpt, through production, painting and packaging before they are released.

We can only live in hope .........

John
