Nothing specific about this one, ie, no historical basis for it, just Germans holding onto a city for dear life as the Soviets crash down all around them.....................

I will not change scales, I will not change scales, I will not, I swear I will not.

Very nice George.:) I like the way that the smaller scale allows for such detailed and large dioramas. I guess I should have started in 1:72 to begin with but 1:30/32 is mine now. Although I am getting the FOV 1:72 DRAGON WAGON and I will have to get the GasOLine 1:50 DRAGON WAGON when it is released. Now if only some company would do one in 1:30 A DRAGON WAGON would be great with any K&C US vehicle. Gee I wonder where I've heard that before. DRAGON WAGON, oh yeah, a BEDFORD LORRY would be nice too.

I don't ask for much, do I:confused:
:):)

KV,
The diorama is actually 1/72nd scale using 20mm figures, it's not 54mm...................

Thanks for the positive feedback all around; the building are mostly model railroading kits, 1/72nd scale that I "kit bashed" into battle damaged versions.

There are TONS of these type of buildings on the market for 20mm collectors............

Fantastic job, congratulations. It sure does test my 'scale loyalty',especially as i played with a lot of 1/72 as a kid.

Rob

Those are cool George, I like looking at large dioramas of bombed out buildings. I'm always looking for ideas to try and make in my scale. I guess you have a great collection of 1/72 scale. The fact I work with reading glasses now, shows my age and tells you I would be blind without them. That scale looks like little blurrs to me without them. The hot water tank, looks like some gigantic oil drum just waiting to be bombed. Thanks for sharing, Mike:)

Nice seeing you playing again George and I know you needed the break after working or should I say playing at the show last Sunday. Looking forward to seeing you put you big guys in action they looked great at the show.....The Lt.

George:

Looks like you are having a lot of fun! Great diorama & thank you for sharing. The smaller scale is tempting especially when I start thinking of airfields & using my Corgi aircraft!

Thanks for the positive feedback; Lt, I needed a break after Chicago, Albany and Dedham, three shows in four weeks.

I'll do a few more dioramas shortly, I've got some projects for customers to get done by November 4th, the BIG Hackensack show in New Jersey. After that, it's Fall In in Gettysburg from the 7th through the 10th, then Long Island on the 17th and Langhorne PA on the 18th, four shows in three weeks...............

hadn't seen that one before , wow, those buildings are fanatastic, favourite one was the street level shot of the buildings.....so much more can be done at the smaller scale.....envious

Thanks SV, John and Colin; nice to see one of my old threads get revisited.............had loads of fun setting that one up.....
