Set VN110 - 2 man set in the foreground is an excellent set. Tank in background is TCS : figure on back of tank is K&C.

Excellent photo! I recently purchased this same set (VN110) and it’s companion USMC patrol set VN109 for a display with my K&C M113. I like that K&C did a set with Marines armed with the M14 rifle, which was widely used early in the conflict and which, despite some flaws, was an excellent and reliable weapon.

Personally, I own a couple M1A rifles (the civilian model of the M14 that lacks the full-auto setting and some other features), so it’s a rifle type I’m very familiar with and love to shoot.

Thanks. I also have the VN109 set and is great also. I plan on putting those two sets together for a scene soon.

Great set up and photo Duke :salute::

Steve

Thanks Steve

Inspiring to see Duke, have to revisit my Aussies in Vietnam. Robin.

Thanks Robin. As of now my Vietnam collection is basically US but was thinking I might also like to get some of the Australian sets.

Duke:

While I have always enjoyed your countless combat scenes, this one might be one of my favorites.

The simplicity and calm that you capture truly sums up what seems to make up so much of what war truly is.

Jason, thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you like this one.

I do enjoy coming up with non-combat scenes, probably just as much if not more so than the action ones.

Duke:

Well stated.

One thing I have always loved about K&C is their ability to continually release combat and non-combat figures throughout their lines.

No manufacturer has ever done that realistic mix better.

Best,
Jason
