Does anyone know what the scale of these figures would be. Are they compatiable with there other civil war figures or are they bigger ?:confused:
 
I would assume they will be compatable with their other ACW but have yet to see a side by side shot. RC stated on another board that they would be ready by Christmas in limited quantities. Yet 13 shipping days left and none in sight. Also the news from the London show KC will be releasing ACW next year that will prove to be interesting just my opinion.

I saw the prototypes in Chicago and as far as I can remember they were the same size as the other Conte figures. We were told we would have some for the Holidays, but no word yet.

Mich Toy Soldier has them broken down into the sets already. They are under the preview section so you can get a heads up on what sets you want. I am betting the SS002 set will go fast.
 
Mich toy has them listed as 60mm while their other sets are at 56mm...Thats why i am a little confused:eek:
 
I spoke to Conte and it does not appear the will be in the US until January. I guess the Confederates will have to wait for re-enforcements!
 
Anybody hear anything new on these sets cost, availability all so is there union planed too. Any word on BOSS sets ?
 
Tommy I have asked the when question on every forum and no response. Zip notta none. It said in one of Conte statemnts that the Union troops would be in the first half of 07 but I seem to recall that the Rebs would hopefully be here in time for Christmas. The SOS was unveiled in Sept and it's now Jan. so go figure. It's just nice to see someone else is interested in this line because it appears we ain't get no respect or answers.Godspeed and good hunting

Have you been to the conte site? there is a pic of what looks like a set of zauves. Have you heard anything about these? I have a better chance of winning the lotto then getting Info about up and comming conte sets !!:eek:
 
I check the Conte sight a couple of times a week but haven't seen anything but the SOS stuff. Where did you see the Zouaves at?
 
Hey Guys, don,t you know you are dealing with Conte here?
Never, ever rely on his word on release dates. Take everything with a grain of salt.
You may not see these figures for a year, or you might not see them at all.
Don,t take this a a Conte bash, I,m just stateing fact.
I think the secrecy thing in this hobby is silly, but on the other hand these non reliable release times are just as bad.
I,m currently waiting on his plastic Viking ship playset that was due around Christmas, I should have asked what Christmas.
Trust me on this.

Good eye Tommy, I have seen the picture in question but never even gave it a passing glance. I thought they were Arabs or something so didn't even check. I hope to goodness these aren't the only Union made to go with the SOS sets.
 
Just saw on Hobby bunkers forum dated 2/19 SOS should :rolleyes: be on the way !!
