Sopwith Camel Replica (1 Viewer)

I tried to suggest to the Brisbane diorama guys that we should build a replica Camel as one of our projects. They wouldn't be in it. No vision, those people!

😏Jack got the hump when we told him where the hangar was to be put. 😄

For the record "Wingnut Wings" , Peter Jackson's wildly successful New Zealand based manufacturer of WW1 aviation 1/32 scale model kits has announced that they have a Sopwith Camel in their production phase set for release later this year. Previous Sopwith Camel models namely the 1/28 scale Revell kit and the 1/32 scale Academy kits fell far short of being a top quality build. But WNW is re inventing the hobby in this classic scale and I am sure their Camel rollout will be on par with all of their other brilliantly crafted designs.

Yes, my father bought one of the Academy kits years ago and it just clipped together. He bought three a couple of years ago and struggled to even get one aircraft from them. He found that the wings and the struts were like ships that pass in the night i.e they never met!
