Picked up this Booklet at the W Britains table in London today and had to share it!

Look at that! More 44th Light Company! PERFECT! Trying to create a small section of a 44th square and was worried that I'd have to buy doublers but look...a new 44th Light Company firing and kneeling at ready! Yesssss! And 2 new 95th! And teo new Black Brunswickers!

Ahhh tried to post a pic but it didn't work on my phone!:redface2:

Sorry everyone but trust me...they are good!!

Also waited for 5 mins to say hi to Ken but he was well swamped so never got the chance!

Liked what I overheard about the WW2 range but!

What was said about the WW2 range Scott?

Sounds good; thanks Scott.
Hopefully the booklets will be mailed out to club members any day now.

They are being mailed out in two weeks I was told yesterday. The catalogue was small only had in a few ranges no ww2 and most disappointing no WATN. I found the Britains stand disappointing too not much on show and the staff were not very knowledgable. The Britains displays on the MKL Stand were much better.

Paul,

I managed to have a chat with Ken and I am pleased to say that the WAN range has some very nice additions coming out next year!

Definitely continuing.

I was sort of easedropping in Ken chatting whilst waiting to introduce myself to him so I don't think it would be fair of me to say what I heard but without giving away too much here's a small hint 'Summers and her gang of sisters' :wink2:

Agree to an extent, I picked up an old Britain's Napoleonic 42nd sapper with axe for £20 but when I told him about the other figures i wanted which he had on table; the recently released 44th Light Company sets, the young gentleman told me that none of them were for sale and that it was just to show what the company had to offer.

So you ate showing what you have to offer, but not actually offering it?^&confuse:rolleyes2:

Anyway MKL were brilliant and I picked up all of the Britains 44th sets which I wanted and spoke to the Lady there whom I met at my first toy soldier show when I was about 10! She remembered me and asked about my m7m so that was a lovely experience!

You can keep up to date with releases by checking the Britains website occasionally. I've found new items usually appear on it several days before I get the latest quarters brochure and standard. You can also view their Facebook page. No need to sign up to Facebook, you can view without joining.

Hi
I left about 12 before Ken arrived so never spoke to him which was a shame. What are the new addition? Something else I found odd was that in the entire show I could not find any of the newest WATN realises. Did pick up some nice older sets I need to fill the gaps in my collection.

Hi All,
I managed to have a word with Ken at the show. As far as Nap's are concerned, he said that Britain's will be revisiting the "North Gate" including new Coldstreamers and Nassau troops in the future, plus new poses for many of the current Naps.I also managed to pick up the event figure on Saturday (24th foot ZW).
Cheer's,
Johnboy.

Earlier on the thread I said about checking Britain's website for their new releases, well I've just had a look myself and they're there:

I am curious why WB has not been able to provide monthly releases similar to K&C, JJD and TG? Basically we have to wait at least three to four months after the release is announced.
The newly sculpted products are excellent but the lead times are very frustrating to collectors. I don't know their factory situation or sculpting system but I believe their growth would be
much more robust with more timely releases.
