A while back I did a little dio featuring a Roman Watchtower I titled North of the Wall.
Now in the progress of one set somewhere south of the Wall, perhaps it could be somewhere in Britannia such as Deva, Eboracum, Londinium or perhaps it could even be elsewhere in the Western Empire such as Colonia Agrippina or Carnuntum perhaps even Roma itself !

3D printed by forum member Paul Bell. (email bellarus6666@gmail.com) whom I've a few more items on order for this.
George "Warrior" in the US can also order these from Paul.
K&C and Del Prado figures.

A lovely scene. Certainly feels like you have captured the period. Well done.

More to the point the building looks authentic 3d or not. Really looks great a market scene. TG figures are currently heading down the same theme, so all very relevant. Robin.

Thanks guys,
Think one of the shops will become a Shoemaker since K&C do a lovely one in the LOJ range inspired by one of Ron Embleton illustrations.
Just started to paint the doors for this, so will post another little scenario soon !

Hey Steve, building looks great. I like the "openness" which allows a lot figure placement. Jars also work well.

As moonlight floods the city an oil lamp burns long into the night.

Cheers Rob, Yes there is plenty of options for figure placement on this facade.

Though I've chosen to do a night scene this time, you can see the panel doors, the lower ones made to look like separate vertical panels as which would be slotted into a channel carved into the floor to accept them, which is something you see clearly in parts of the Roman ruins of Pompeii.

For someone interested I think something similar could be done to make a Tomb chamber for the Lord Carnarvon & Howard Carter figures maybe even the Mummy figure for some fun scenes !

This scene looks good with the sentry patrolling past the backdrop of a lighted room from the building. Great work.

Outstanding looking building ! It can work in so many different themes

Cheers guys glad you like the photos.

Yes Mike you're right it and the other Roman themed buildings would fit into a lot of different eras and locations.

The designer also does some really great looking Viking theme buildings and also a kind of Pirates of the Caribbean range among others all also very good for 3D printing that caught my ete.

Its awesome. I love anything Roman. Military stuff is great but Roman civilian life was also fascinating

Thanks Jason :salute::

Yes I agree, nice to be able to expand into the civilian Roman World. Just had my next two buildings arrive this morning. Got to take a paintbrush to them yet, but you can get an idea of them from these pics as well as the first one. Will post more pics as I get them painted.

These are fantastic Steve, proving once again the sky is the limit for this type of technology. I know your painting skills are excellent, so looking forward to seeing the final result. Robin.

Cheers Robin, I try my best though Paul's painting skills are far superior who's been painting wargaming pieces for years he tells me so practice certainly makes perfect !
Been having a look at some of the other designs that Paul has bought licenses from to print my Roman type buildings and you might like to take a look yourself at the Aztec type pyramids and structures, Also I see a ship based on the St maria for Columbus / Conquistadors Tortuga for Pirates of caribbean, Odingard for Viking ship and buildings lots of stuff : https://www.myminifactory.com/users/DarkRealms you might see something to tempt you !

Lovely buildings! Please keep up to date on these buildings.

Cheers and will do ! :salute::

Almost halfway on painting this one and will probably be repainting the lower walls and columns a slightly brighter red as I'm thinking this is a bit too dark. <br>Word of warning to anyone thinking of getting one of these, you will need to spend quite a bit of time and do a fair bit of work on the building, unless you get Paul or your own model maker to do it all for you of course.
