Is anyone else here on the Forum attending the show tomorrow at the SC State Museum? I will be there myself.

I am also taking some retired JJD BOM extra sets I have for a Forum member tomorrow to the show that I have sold him. If anyone else here is going and your interested in this range, let me know and I can send you a list of what I have.

mk26gmls,

I am possibly attending show if I get paroled for the day by big wifey. Tim from Troops of Time will be there and he may have some customers who have him keeping an eye out for some old BOM sets. He is a great guy, go introduce yourself to him if you don't already know him. He also knows alot of guys in the club that is sponsoring the event. I don't think you will have too much trouble moving those sets. Good luck.

Actually, Tim is the one buying 3 sets from me. I know Tim quite well. Great guy.

Maybe I will see you tomorrow.

The show does start at 10 AM.

So how was the show this year? I was unable to attend this year even though I live only 2 hours away. Hope all went well!

Got there early, set-up was still being done. I met fellow treefrogger Darrel at the Troops of Time's table. Of course Tim and crew were there with a wide selection of K&C,Collector's Showcase,JJ. I gave Tim some of my money and added to my K&C collection. I went into the other room and purchased a good book by Klaus Richter, "Cavalry of the Wehrmacht." Great find for $5. My other great find was the original K&C US Navy/Marine pilot WB02A for $18 MIB.
The displays downstairs with the re-inactors was okay. Unfortunatley it was raining outside so some of the vehicles were covered up.Static displays were pretty good ranging from WWII, Vietnam and a couple of ladies dressed up like Rosie the Rivitors. Excellent display of captured Japanese guns and swords in one display.I would recommend a tour of the Confederate Relic Room. Very well done and worth the $5 admission price.
Back home in time to cut grass......
