I was there today and just got back from the Show.
There was a huge private collection of K&C, JJD and Conte being sold today at the Show. Hundreds and hundreds of figures and vehicles. None had boxes, but every piece I examined was mint. Each single figure was $12 and the mounted figures were $25. The vehicles/tanks were all $80. Most of the collection was retired.
The guy had K&C Crusaders, The Alamo, American Revolution, World War I, World War II. JJD was the FIW series of ranges. Conte was just about everything. All of the old K&C Empress Dragoons and Scots Grey were going for $25 each. K&C tanks were selling for $80. In the JJD section, I found one piece left of BM-06. The other three figures had already sold for $12 each. Maybe someone didn't realize the fourth piece needed to make a full set. It was quite incredible. I don't buy figures without boxes, but I did make come exceptions this time. The one piece I have been hunting for a while I got, BR060 for $12. I only had $70 on me in cash and no check book. I am really glad I didn't have more cash or checks because I could have spent a lot of money today.
Tons of K&C German Bugle sets and American D-Day figures were available. I have some older D-Day sets myself and I saw them in there.
The volume of individuals attending the Show looked down from what I remember of last year.
Got to see Tim and Gordon of Troops of Time again. Great guys! Picked up four Napoleon in Egypt sets from them. They will be attending the Williamsburg show in October this year.
