The paint looks like it is glowing. I wonder what kind of lighting was used for the photo. Figarti really needs to improve its product photography! K&C and TCS both do excellent product photos; in the age of digital cameras and image processing their is no excuse for poor photos. Most of the collectors submitting photos to forum do a better job!

K&C and TCS "May" do better photos but Figarti make better armour and I know what more important to me

Not sure what you mean, it looks fine to me, it may have something to do with the picture having been enlarged. Have you seen the pictures of it at the Chicago show? I tend to agree with uksubs and I'm very much looking forward to getting one soon.

Brian

I agree Figarti makes nice armor; I own several pieces, but their product photos need improvement. I really like my Figarti T34-85. I would like it even more if it had arrived with all its parts; which it did not. I would also like it more if the barrel stayed in position without having to shim it. All toy soldier makers have quality issues; photo quality is just one of many. Figarti has need of improvement in certain areas as does all the other toy soldier makers. Unless the issue is raised improvement will not happen! I think the Figarti Panther G is the best Panther in 1/30 scale made to date; however the paint on my example is inferior to that shown on the pre-production photos; as many have observed, a dissapointment in an otherwise great model. I consider Figarti's best effort to date is the Jagdpanzer IV.
The camoflauge pattern is sublime and the colors are text book perfect. I only wish the panther G was as well done!

This photo would be enough to deter me from purchasing this tank!!>>>>BUT after seeing the real thing at the London show then i now realise it"s the photography and not the paint job that is at fault!!. Same thing with the photo"s of the new Summer Pershing, the model looks great but the US.Apple Green effect does"nt do it for me....now i realise it"s a BAD PHOTO problem!!. Was a little dissapointed that the Pershing was not available at the show, had my wad of 20s ready to buy but no Pershing to be seen.......Let me know Clive when it rolls into stock!!!!!.

Steve,

I my self am interested in the KV-1 would you say the model is compatible with the K&C Russian vehicles?

The KV-1 was an important AFV in the early part of the war and need one to complete collection.

Mark

Mark........In one word YES!! There are as always points of discussion about who makes the best looking tracks and who"s sizing is more accurate but i think that
Figarti stands equal at least with KC. I have several Figarti items in my collection side by side with KC items and it works well.......Go for it!!!.

Steve,

Coming from someone who has actually seen it I will take your advice.

I don't care if its FL, CS as long as it matches it and my Russian WWII needs a KV-1

Steve,

Have placed pre order with Treefrog so its just a matter of waiting till they arrive.

That's a good thing as it will give me a little more time to get some addition figures from K&C in their Russian range.

Its time like these I wish we had TS shows it Australia displaying manufactures offering those of you that live US & Britian are spoilt in that regard.
