SOW Crimean War (1 Viewer)

The Light Brigade sets are very impressive. There is a good one of Lord Cardigan.

The sets are not yet listed up on the Regal website so the prices.....??

Thanks, Raymond.:)

Hi Raymond,
might take a while for them to get the Crimean War range on the site I think, they have so many ranges:cool: I'm pretty sure everything is available to order, you would need to contact them to find out. Their prices are pretty uniformal, $140NZD for a set of five foot, $190NZD for a set of three mounted, and $195NZD for an artillery piece with five crew.
Looking through the catalog I have there is 75 different Crimean War sets alone.
Am thinking I might need to add a new section to the blog, an on-line catalog of the ranges.

cheers
Scott

Hi Raymond,
saw Ian today and he said

It will take a while to update the website with all the ranges, there are over 3000 sets, but they are all available, just make contact with us and we'll be happy to supply you with the sets and pricing. There will also soon be an option on the website to order sets not on there via a special order button.

Hope that helps

Cheers

Hi Scott,

Thanks very much for the helpful information.

I shall be patient and wait for the sets to be uploaded to the website.

Unfortunately, the blog does not show the set numbers.

It would be difficult to order with the special order button if the set numbers cannot be specified.

Kind Regards, Raymond.:)

140 NZD is about 100 USD, not a bad price. Wonder what the heck it costs and how long it takes to ship from NZ to US ?

I think Regal charge 7.5% postage and packaging for international orders so a five foot set would be $140NZD + $10.5NZD, so say $150.5NZD, or about $104USD at the current exchange rate. The NZ post site says that international air delivery takes about 3-10 working days.

I just got an excellent SOW Crimea War set from Mike!

Excellent, they must be an earlier set, as all the Crimean War figures I've seen have textured bases. Good score. Are these from Stockade?

Hello Scott,
Yes, this set it from Stockade.

JW,
Mike had another one in stock if you are interested.
I also got WW1 French Artillery set with a crew in gas masks. I will post pictures tomorrow.

Al

Out of interest did he have a lot of SOW in stock then?
Hello Scott,
Mike has 20-30 different sets in his display case , I do not know what quantities he has in stock :)
He told me that turn around time with NZ (to order and get a set) was about 3 months.

You guys do realize that Soldiers of the World are produced for both Stockade Miniatures and The Toy Soldier Gallery (both of whom keep large quantities of sets in stock). Both shops' contact information are available on the K&C website, as they are both also K&C dealers.

The Crimean War is one of my favourites, I collect the matt figures from K&C UK but I certainly appreciate these gloss figures, thank you for posting the photos.

Regards

Jeff
