Found these little beauties lurking in the back of the Regal Workshop the other day, WWI German Jaegers, of which only a few complete sets were ever made (Alan thinks only two)

Another great SOW set.

I have a good number of SOW sets, mostly Napoleonic, and they all have smooth retangular bases. When did SOW start making the bases look more natural w/ the look of grass or ground like the figures you posted here?

I think the natural textured are only found on the later WWI and WW2 Matte ranges. Though I'm not sure when the change happened because a lot of the WW1 figures are on the smooth bases.
