wonderful book and a great story ! loved it. especially as they found a crew member from the panther in question so the book shows both sides of the story.

Was able to get an inexpensive copy of this and it came in the mail today. I'm about 50 pages in and am really liking it. Very interesting worm's-eye view of tank warfare from both sides. Glad I got it. -- Al

Terrific read, well written, very well researched, well illustrated with maps and the personalities involved. I highly recommend this book, not only for armor warfare buff but for the military reader in general. -- Al
