This is the Special Replica XMAS Set. Originally made by Roy Dilley for his son Tony as a Christmas present, it was released by Roy as a strictly limited edition of 30 sets, sold by the National Army Museum, Chelsea.


I'm delighted to be able offer this great set for a limited period for collectors to get a second chance to enjoy and own this classic set.
I am producing a strictly limited run of 20 painted boxed sets only for £90 per set plus post.

Bagged Sets of unpainted castings are also available for £35 plus post.

This set is only available until 24th December 2018. It will then be retired and returning to the Replica Metal Soldiers archive! So if you like this set grab one while you can!

Aren't they gorgeous Brad?

I'm watching the post-box each morning from now on. However, that's a pretty good painted set right there Brad. If I can get close to those - I'll be well pleased.

Once they arrive - I'll start painting them right away - as they are destined to live under our Xmas tree!

Maybe for next year Andrew will add a few Guards musicians?? jb

It is an attractive set, but you and I know, the ones we paint ourselves are special
