Anyone care to guess what the four mounted Saracen figures will be like. There has been talk of an archer on a camel, so I guess we'll see that one. I'm guessing at least one other camel-riding Saracen. I expect we might get a unique Saracen/Crusader interactive piece, such as a Saracen being pulled off his horse or camel by a Templar. It would be neat to get a Saracen on a camel with a huge banner, blowing in the wind. It's just fun to speculate. Anyone else care to contribute a guess?

Whatever the figures are, I'm sure they'll look superb. The Crusader line continues to impress me, I wish I had extra money to spend on them.

I just saw on the back of the latest TSMF magazine the new Saracens two archers, a flag bearer and a drummer all on camels

Can you scan and provide us with an image ????

Flag bearer must be a beauty, going on the other items of Islamic art, such as the shields.

Just curious, how are these images published already when these aren't set for release until march? Is this typical for TSMF?

Well I know they did this with the Desert Rolls Royce vehicle as well they published at the back of the magazibe before it was actually annouced by King and Counrty in the dispatches.

They are all great looking, Looks like I will be hurting for money, when these comes out.

Thanks for the images, the do look VERY colourful, or maybe its the reproduction. The mounted camel drummer is something REALLY different, I notice he as 3 drums, 2 kettke drums and one transverse, that would sure give a different tune accross the battlefield.

As always, K&C is doing something 'out of the square' ....

Looking forward to hi res images next month in "Dispatches"

Pworbagpiper...thank you very much for the pictures...these are gonna be pricey...but I'm getting them...

pworbagpiper,

Thanks for posting the pictures. The mounted Saracens look just great! I was hoping for a flagbearer on a camel and something totally unique (drummer on camel) and we'll be getting both. And.....not just one, but two archers on camels.

These do look nice. Very very colorful...but I probably wont be buying them. I dont collect the entire Crusader series I just have a handful on display. And no space to put these.

Thanks for posting these. I'm a sucker for K&C's camels, love the Crusades (well, the line, not the actual holy wars), so has made the wait a bit more worthwhile.

Toy Soldier magazine doesn't seem to be on any newsstands. At least not in Los Angeles or NY. Of course, there are no TS stores in LA, so not a complete shock.

Wow, that's the coolest looking pieces from the K&C Crusader line in awhile! I only have a modest representation of Crusaders and Saracens in my personel collection but I'm sorely tempted to grab a couple of these unique pieces. Good stuff!!! :D

These are nice looking pieces and certainly unique.
I will definitely buy these. I would have liked to see more continuity on sets that go well with a siege scene. Siege equipment along with more attacking foot figures would have been my first choice for earlier release.
The K&C figures go well with First Legion's Crusader releases and I think they will be releasing siege engines shortly. I am curious to see FL mounted Crusaders and Saracens. I think the pricing will be a lot closer between K&C and FL now.

I know exactly where thes new figures will fit into my Crusades diorama. The four camel-mounted Saracens will be joining my seven horse-mounted Saracens as they charge out of the walled city gate to confront the Crusaders. I needed a few more mounted Saracens to add to the charge and now I'll have them.

Thank you for taking the time to post these images. I've only recently started collecting the Crusader series and these four models look fantastic. They should also make the three camels from the Life of Jesus series very popular as well.
