Looking forward to this one.
Was mentioned on News last night and lots of online articles about it.
The story of a famous former Navy SEAL is getting the Hollywood treatment from Steven Spielberg.
The Lincoln director's next project will be American Sniper, based on the 2012 autobiography of the same name by Chris Kyle. Bradley Cooper, who bought the book rights, will star as the late soldier.
Known as the most lethal sniper in American history, Kyle served four tours of duty during the second Iraq war, where he was nicknamed "the Devil of Ramadi," and awarded two Silver Stars for his efforts.
He left the service in 2009, returned to his home state of Texas with his family and worked in recent years to help fellow soldiers struggling with PTSD. In February, Kyle was shot and killed by a fellow veteran at a firing range 50 miles southwest of Fort Worth. A memorial service for Kyle was attended by nearly 7,000 people at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
