While several of his guards stand near, General Washington reviews the upcoming campaign with General Rochambeau.

Meanwhile, Agent 355 has crossed the Devil's Belt at night, slipping out of British-occupied Long Island unseen. This morning, she brings a basket containing strawberries and intelligence regarding British troop strength and movements to Culper, Sr.

Washington's spy ring was fairly elaborate. Major Benjamin Tallmadge (Culper, Sr.) ran the operations around New York. Agent 355 is known only as "a lady"; her true identity was never revealed.

I built this small diorama using a display box for a football that I found at a craft store. It makes a handy base, and the cover helps protect the contents. This was my first attempt at using Woodland Scenics' Static Grass. I'm not completely satisfied with the result, but I will continue to experiment with it.
