Another excellent choice for a piece with "unusual" but often used equipment.

I have a question. Are the rockets fixed or loose in their wooden frames?

And one concern I have is how the metal support frame is made. It is a very fragile shape for a cast piece. Knowing that you will make the metal members to scale as you have always done with other pieces of equipment, how can the metal frame be made strong enough to not warp over time as it stands at a 45 degree angle with the weight of the rockets on it, or withstand the shipping?
I consider the Wurfgerat as a must buy - but I would like my concern about the strength of the frame put to rest.

Hi Terry
We went for the 'thicker' production launch frame which is different from the one in your picture, it seems the style of these frames varied throughout the war. The launch frames come in 2 clip together pieces so there will be no breakages in transit. The rockets themselves are seperate from the crates so you can vary the dio you wish to portray as well. The Winter sets are limited to 200 pieces and the Spring '45 sets are limited to 100 pieces and will be ready next week for shipping, official photos to follow soon!
