I find it amazing that a "wooden" item suh as this would have stood for something like 77 years.
Interesting find.

I also really like the idea of that being utilized as a display point. GREAT IDEA.

Great find! That would indeed look incredible rerolled into use as a toy soldier display shelf. Of course, as a Canuck, I'm hopelessly biased.

Bet even when first put up and housing troops and assuming they had the usual arrangement of a coal stove for heating they were dam*ed cold in Winter !

Gentlemen, any box that a Canadian stands in, is clearly a penalty box not a sentry box. (you feel shame)


On a serious note it would make a heck a display cabinet.
