Those girls are coming along nicely Victor,

now for a coat of paint ???

Hi John,

After another rinse in water to wash off the detergent {to remove the casting grease}, I painted a flesh undercoat.

I ptd over the transparent UV LED resin castings to visualise the faces. As you can see, not the best of castings.

But its not an issue for me as I use them for armatures. So the figs are already being used.

Another group shows more developed pieces with limbs from wires.

Trying to make some dancing girls with drums. Added limbs. Then I got lucky. I used the italeri oil drum from their workshop set. Cut this up into slices and voila, three drums.

Here are the commune girls with their oil drums. If you are going to San Francisco...... hahahha

Finally got some plastic sheets to make more archi structures. This new one represents a balcony.

Went shopping today and got several more figure kits 1/35 and 1/50 scales. Will be using them in this piece.

Meanwhile I created some pillars for the balcony.

I used the putty to mechanically strengthened the stairs on the underside.

Completing the front batch of figs. Also starting to sculpt two statuettes being carried. These were made from thick wire.

I made the angles for the balcony more acute. Then started to undercoat and paint the figs. The front girls are being developed quite nicely.

I finished the lower balcony and attached it to the steps. Finally. It was a lot of work.

Thx for that kind comment. I do ok. Hahahaha

So I took a pix and made a photocopy of the setting. Then I drew in str lines to see if they actually meet at a vanish point. Most of them surprisingly did! Hence the proportions seem to work. I’ll correct those that didn

Not quite an expert, just being very observant.

I then made a photocopy of the actual ptg and did the same perspective analysis. And guess what? The original ptg has no single but at least two VP. Which how ever you spin it, this ptg lacks technical rigour!!!. Whooops.... Never mind. Even other great artists {eg Gros) lacked technical rigour. I belong to the cult of conspiracy theorists hahaha.
