Glad you liked it. I found the squirrel photo late last night when I was looking for photo backdrops for my dios. The way his tail was photographed made it look like one of those bearskin hats of the Grenadier guards and so this morning I had hin visit the tailor at the Photoshop

It all depends on how long the squirrel will stay in one place. Sometimes when the manufacturer has tried to add the gloss coat over the matte finish, he has taken off into the woods in search of acorns which he's saving up to buy more toy soldiers for his own collection. His accountant has wisely told him that being a toy soldier himself could be very profitable in today's collector's market and that he should look forward to being retired and eventually ending up on E-bay where the real money is to be had. But, of course, it's not easy to reason with a squirrel who rather be off adding to his collections of acorns and toy soldiers.

Thanks for your Trooping of the Colour--now all you need is a Queen Liz squirrel. Hopefully John G. won't ask Andy to make some DAK versions.

Tonight a squirrel in London, angered at being satirized on Treefrog Treasues Toy Soldier Forum, broke into a downtown building housing an exhibition of toy soldiers and miniatures. During what is believed to have been a four hour rampage, the squirrel decimated a number of miniature dioramas depicting warfare throughout the centuries. During the rampage the squirrel was captured on the building's security camera. Scotland Yard is following a lead that the squirrel may be headed towards Nottingham.

(For Simon whose Squirrel Pictures have made me laugh)

"Squirrels in Uniform" sounds great to me. Since Simon has the biggest collection we should let him add his "2 acorns" to the title choice. This whole thing reminds me of the old Reader's Digest feature called "Humor in Uniform"

Glad we can bring a little levity to the forum

Great those are awesome, the light sabres and hanging on a rope are the best. My dog hates squirrels, I find them entertaining.
