Hi,

I've just complted painting another couple of Staddens, this time its French Cavalry buglers.

They are a Polish Lancer of the Guard in campaign dress, and a Cuiassier from the 1st Regiment.

Both came to me as undercoated, but rather tickly done, so I have stripped the troops to bare metal, before getting thier new kit.

Coming up soon I hope to show you Marshal Bessiers in all his glory, so keep a lookout posted,

I had to smile a little when I read that. I started working on my Stadden 95th Rifleman this morning- filed down some moulding lines and noticed the primer peeling around the feet. I think most likely the brass base sheet flexing over time so also stripped the figure back to metal, rather than risk further paint problems.

Your figures are beautifully done as usual. Nice to see some older figures.
