Stadden English Civil War Chess set (1 Viewer)

Bernard, just over £11 per figure! seems rather cheap?

Jeff

Yo Jeff, I think its a great buy, if it had been Chas 90mm I would be putting photos up now:D. Mined you dont know where the cash would be from after the house move, but I would have put the squeeze on someone lol.
Bernard.

Thanks for that link, Bernard! I agree, that is a set of nicely sculpted pieces, and probably many of the figures represent unique poses. I'm curious to track down some old Chota Sahib catalogs and see whether any of these are similar to other figures that were in their line. I never knew that they carried anything like this.

Prost!

Brad, the Chota Sahib 54mm range was obtained by Patrick Willis of Sarum Soldiers but he has since sold them on. Syd Horton also produced a series of German ww2 figures which he passed on to Verlinden before his untimely death. Sarum also have a large range of Andrew Stadden's figures and I think, but am not certain, that the ECW chess set was among them and the figures were also sold seperately. Trooper
