Hello, the famous “Great Escape” prisoner of war camp is just outside Zagan in Poland. Most of the site is now woodland but there is an excellent museum and recreated hut, guard tower and even a small section of tunnel. The route that tunnel “Harry” took is commemorated. Well worth a visit but it was a long ride from the UK on the motorbike.
