Does the Steadfast Toy Soldier company have a website or an online catalogue? I am in search of additional steadfast soldiers, but have been unable to discover any. I hope the company didn't go under.

They are still in business, but Stone Castle in Kentucky who was at one time a big dealer for them, no longer carries them. Recently, there was an earlier thread on Steadfast that had its web site. BTW, I have about two dozen sets available for sale in their original boxes, if you are interested.

The Steadfast thread is under Vintage/Traditional Glossy Figures and is dated 6-15-07. It has their web site link.

Thanks for the info! I may take up your offer in the future. I only have a few Steadfast soldiers right now, and I am trying to acquire more.

I just checked out their web site. The new owners have changed a lot from the original Andrew Rose and the Barbour Enterprises days. The original sets came in boxes of four figures usually with an officer and three men. There were also a couple of eight figure versions of some four figure sets. There were also two 12 figure sets: SF34 - Zulu War set and SF36 - Boer War set.

The main difference is that they no longer seem to have any artillery sets the original company was famous for. Their prices are also higher at about $15 a figure, so their old four figure sets are now $60 and their new six figure versions are $100. I was buying the four figure sets for $45 from Stone Castle 10 years ago.

Hi Tex.

Try www.rpworldmodels.net They now produce the Steadfast ranges but as Mike has stated there doesn't appear to be the vast selection of artillery anymore.

I just visited the site yesterday, and I am in agreement. Overall, it seems they have dropped many sets. Are they just revamping them, or have those sets been dropped for good? I do miss their artillery.

Hopefully they are just re-organising, I would hate to think the artillery sets have been dropped. I will give them a ring on Monday to find out for you.

They made great Gatling Gun Sets........please ask about them...I sent them an email some 4 mos. ago.....no response. Michael

Just got off the phone with Bob, the owner of RPworld Models.

They now own all the Steadfast ranges and have 150 sets already produced and within the next year hope that the remaining will be available.
I asked about the Gatling Guns and he was amazed to find out that the Artillery and Vehicle categories are not shown on his website! He told me these all should be shown.

I have just tried the website again and if you click under All Items and then browse with the next icon, this will show all the sets available, including the Artillery etc.

Hope this helps.

Jeff

Tex.

Not at all. I see that they can be suplied as castings as well.

Regards

Michael.

RPworld Models now have the Steadfast ranges and at present produce these sets of the Maxim and the Gatling. With reference to my previous post the rest of the range should be available during the next year.
