The end of the year is fast approaching and still waiting for the Fall standard, though did get the Fall Catalogue from MKL in the post a couple of weeks ago.

ACW fans especially might like to have a sneak peek at one of the articles in the Standard, we are waiting for though that I found on "Telegraphy during the American Civil War" in a pdf

Receved the standard yesterday and the standard is the clubmagazine of britain collectors club

Received my issue of the Standard and the Fall catalogue. Interesting article on the first assault rifle and another on how to paint tartan, might have a go at that myself sometime !

What is The Standard (I'm new to all of this).

If you go to the WBritains website you will see info about the membership and the quarterly magazine "the standard". Includes a free annual figure from the members range offered. Robin.

Our club membership includes 4 catalogs per year, 4 issues of The Standard, our quarterly magazine of history and news and an exclusive Collector's Club figure. In 2016 and for 2017 there are 8 different figures to choose from, and as a club member you can purchase any number of additional figures if you wish to.


We always try to include some of the research we do when developing new figures in the articles so the topics are varied. We just finished the winter issue and it should arrive to members just before the holidays. Moving the business from Iowa to Ohio made things a bit later than usual in 2016 so we will work hard to get back on schedule for 2017.

The 2017 Collector's Club figures will be featured in the Winter Standard along with descriptions. We will also include the 2017 figures in the Collector's Club figure order form that will be included with the next mailing.
