Here's a couple of shots of the Stug III. This is the only piece of CS armor I have currently, but I'm planning on getting more in the future. Great looking stuff.

I am hoping to find a winter one on the secondary market. Thanks for posting the pics:)

Looks good. The CS tank figures work great in this type of setting. Get the Panthers and Tigers. Also, the Marder is very cool. You won't be disappointed.

Nice diorama. I love the CS armor, just got my self the Tiger Tank, 506th (Arnhem). Can't wait for it to show up.

Thanks guys.

I'll for sure be looking to buy some more CS armor in the future. Looks like they have some good stuff coming out.

I have the Arnhem and Winter Tigers... love them both.

Great display! I've had my eye on those JG scenics for awhile.

For those interested in the technical details of the Stug III I recommend this pair of books.

STURMGESCHÜTZ III Vol. 1 - Development, Production, Deployment (Peter Müller and Wolfgang Zimmerman)

STURMGESCHÜTZ III Vol. 2 - Variants, Modifications, Technical Drawings (Peter Müller and Wolfgang Zimmerman)

Well...I admit I was mistaken. The late model StuG III Ausf. G was sometimes equipped with the Rundumfeuer (remote controlled MG). I was surprised to see it on the CS model and asked if there was a possiblity to release the square shield to display it as an early variant. I would still have preferred it. That said, it is the best StuG III available. All of the CS vehicles are top tier. Jürgen

The rotating machine gun mount was partially available on both MIAG and Alkett manufactured Stug IIIs between July and October 1944. It became standard in October 1944.

Great photos. How cool would a set of soldiers, Allied or German, inspecting a knocked-out vehicle be?
