I have for sale some of my Sudan Dioramas which comprise of WBritain War along the Nile range of figures.
All the figures are permanently attached & embedded into the ground work. If interested please contact me via PM for pricing and delivery options (UK only I’m afraid due to the weight and assembled nature of the dioramas).
Tel-el-Kebir 1882.
This diorama is approx. 70cm long by 31cm deep and depicts the British assault on the Egyptian entrenchments.
Regarding the figures, quite a few have been repainted (original grey coated 42nd Highlanders now have red) and the British Artillery set is from the Zulu range with a modified gun barrel to suit a 9pdr. This diorama comprises 27 British, 11 Egyptian figures & 2 guns.
Battle of Tamai 1884.
This diorama is approx. 70cm long by 35cm deep and depicts the York and Lancaster Regiment being attacked by a Mahdist force of Hadendoa. Some of the wounded Hadendoa were converted by the removal of the base, re-positioning arms, legs and then repainted. This diorama comprises 20 British, 25 Hadendoa foot & 2 mounted camels.
Battle of Abu Klea 1885.
This diorama is approx. 70cm long by 35cm deep and depicts the Guards Regiment of the Camel Corps being attacked by a Mahdist force of Ansars and Hadendoa. Some of the wounded were converted by the removal of the base, re-positioning arms, legs and then repainted. Camel blankets have been repainted red.
This diorama comprises 17 British foot, 2 mounted and 3 dismounted camels against 24 Mahdist foot figures and 1 mounted camel.
Thanks
Jeff
