I am hoping John will do some medics for the Sudan, especially since he now has some wounded Highlanders. A stretcher party, surgeon, nurses and field hospital tent would make a great little vignette. Here is a period photo of one of them.

This staff sergeant of an unidentified regiment appears to be wearing the grey serge uniform issued to British troops during Woseley's Nile Campaign also known as the Gordon Relief Expedition of 1884-5. He also wears a medic's badge on his sleeve.

I am with you on this. I think we need some officers also. Like one to be looking through binoculars. Have plently to lookforward to with the 3 sets of figures shown in London plus the limber. Shaping up to be great Sudan year 2011. Cheers, Robin.
