Suggest for “Personalities” Range (1 Viewer)

Matt,

I would like to suggest a new addition to the popular Napoleonic Mounted Personalities figures category, one for Foot Personalities figures. These would be more affordable and still equally great figures. Having the option of buying foot figures would allow for different display possibilities and would help keep the prices down.

The new Mounted Personalities are now selling for about $170 each.

Hmm.....correct me if I'm wrong, but we've released foot personality figures. Napoleon and Staff, Russian Staff Set, Death of Lannes, Marshal Murat, various single foot Hussar "special" figures (same premise as a personality figure), General Cambronne with Guard Chasseurs, etc. So this is something we already do. But experience has taught us that foot ones just aren't as exciting as the mounted ones, so we'll continue to focus on those and also to continue doing the types of foot personality/special foot figures that we already release.

Totally agree Matt, but please look at the prices. In the UK we pay well over the odds at nearly $250-270 for a mounted figures. I wrote to you a couple of years ago about this and you said it was out of your control. God knows what mounted prices will be in the UK if First Legion puts its prices up on its website over the next year.

Matt, I thank you for such a quick response to my suggestion. You are not wrong; I realize you have already been producing wonderful foot personalities within your more general releases.

I was thinking having a separate category would allow the introduction of single figures without having to work them into a general release. It was because of the proven success of the Mounted Personalities that thought a similar category featuring foot figures would be equally successful. However, I yield to your knowledge of what sells and what doesn’t.
