Iv'e got a simple but much needed suggestion IMO; how about regular old run of the mill WWII German Infantrymen? How about some panzer grenadiers wearing M1940 and M1943 tunics, M1940 trousers or M1943 belted trousers, short shaft marching boots or M1941 canvas anklets and ankle boots? No camo aside from the occasional zeltbahn and have the troops wear the standard German helmet or the M1943 cap.

Now that we've got these incredible British Airborne figures, we need Germans to oppose them. What do you lads think?

I completely agree Warrior.
Me'n'Rob had a conversation concerning this very issue a couple of weeks ago. Because so many Wermacht early war sets are now retired, I just have a feeling that we might see some new Jerry sets in 2008.

I hope so, the Allies have noone to fight aside from SS units; I know the SS figures in their camo are sexy and Heer Infantry in field grey are not, but they still would sell like crazy.............

I agreed too, we need more early Wermacht figurines, I think the last ones K&C released, go back in 2002. I asked before and I still asking for some Paulus 6th Army

Cheers

I agree some German regulars would be great. I see it now the WM(Wehrmacht) series 10 Poses of German regulars with regular arms. Also they would have WMW(Winter) where they use the same poses but just had some weathering. Also Maybe some trucks? Dont worry andy you dont have to pay me for my ideas.

Wow, now there's a bit of common sense.

Some ordinary German inf in field Grey would be very welcome, some riflemen in action would be great. As was said above, just some run of the mill opposition for the Red Devils.

I've just read the flyer over on the Arnhem Flyer thread,is this the first official statement that there will be opposition for the Paras?(maybe it was in dispatches and i've forgotten).Nice one Andy!:)

And the great thing is that you could us them pretty much every where

And from such an unlikely source too...........;)

An't that the truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:p

George, its amazing to see that you survived all the traffic. It seems that in another thread, your dead.

I agree, regular German grunts is a great idea, along with (and hold on to your hats cause you know this is comin') a BEDFORD LORRY and a DRAGON WAGON. It's a new week so its a new time to say the same thing, over and over again until I get my way (imagine me holding my breath and turning all the shades of blue that are possible until I get my way...yeah right).:):)

At the risk of being boring, agree some wehrmacht troops needed - to fight some Commonwealth infantry?

While we are on the subject of commonwealth forces, how about some RAF pilots and groundcrew for all these wonderful warbirds?

Amen to that brother. I need some pilots for the Typhoon, Whirlwind and Swordfish.

What is this......$900 bucks and you dont even get a pilot? Boooooooooooooooo! :)

He hasn't made pilots for years and before you shout Del Prado, his agreement with them probably prevents him from selling them. But, yeah, we'd like to see pilots and groundcrew.

I thought the Paras didn't have run of the mill opposition. That was part of the problem. Was it not a crack SS unit being refitted at Arnhem by by complete coincidence? I stand to be corrected by more knowledgable members
