Hi Guys,

Just received the latest issue of ‘COLLECTOR’ which features, among other things, the story behind our new ‘VIETNAM WAR’ series...
K&C collectors and dealers around the world will be receiving their copies over the next couple of weeks.

Our front cover shows Don McCullin, one of the greatest combat photographers of the 20th (or indeed any other) Century.
British-born Don was with the Marines during some of the fiercest fighting in Hue and took many outstanding images of men in combat.
His work provided much of the inspiration for K&C’s latest ‘U.S. Marines in Action’.

Now, aged 82, Don McCullin lives in rural Somerset, in the West of England and continues to take outstanding photographs... particularly portraits and country landscapes – a far cry from the urban battlefield that was Hue in 1968!

Best wishes and happy collecting,
Andy

Great ! But the Summer Collector Issue is very long to charge...it's normal ?

Thank you.

Hi Andy
Lots of must haves future releases coming in the ranges I collect.
Any chance of a Don McCullin photographer figure. Great idea to base figures on Don McCullin's Sunday Times photos from Hue. A compliment to the men from Delta Company and what they endured. Be great to have a Lt Myron figure and some men resting too as in your main photo.

I don't have a link, but the Sunday Times did do a, "where are they now" of the men in the photos, such as the Marine Sniper one, who was the Scots Émigré with the Binoculars and who now lives in Arizona.

I will definitely be getting those Aussies and certainly those with SLR's will do service in dioramas of Vietnam and elsewhere.

I see some nice goodies planned; can't wait.

I normally don't do this, yet I feel compelled in saying this; where's the M48 Patton and M4 Sherman Pacific tank versions?

I hope one is planned. I hate to use my First Legion and Figarti tank versions with these find releases.

BTW Andy, great job with the quality and volume of figures.

Carlos

Hi Carlos,
Good to hear from you and to meet up with you at last month's Texas Show!

Re your request for an M48 and a 'Pacific' M4 Sherman...At this moment in time we are concentrating on more figures and other fighting vehicles for both 'Vietnam' and 'The Pacific'...

So, apologies for any delays on your particular pieces...But keep watching...
All the best and happy collecting!
Andy.

Me too …….

I'll be checking out the new Aussies in Vietnam in 2 week's time, at the K&C Dinner but I was very pleased to see another fine Napoleonic set of figures showing up in COLLECTOR ...…

Josephine & Her Napoleon NA414 …. love her dress …… :)

Well Done … again,

John

Nice to see the Pacific series continues with the surrendering Japanese figures.
Given the number of Japs that did finally "give up" I will only need a few to make it look authentic ...:rolleyes2:
