Interesting - it only took it them 18 months ? for a release of 1000 to go ... very good sign for JJD Figures - more collectors are joining the fold. :)

I think thats very poor sales actually at 1000 figures over 18 months thats less than 2 figures per day considering these are sold worldwide (that is unless my maths is wrong, which is possible) LOL

thebritfarmer,

I am afraid Ron has his numbers wrong. Sorry to do it to you Ron. :D

SWI-01 & SWI-02 were release November 2007, 10 months ago (43 weeks ago).

There are only 500 sets in the Snowshoe Series.

Therefore it is approximately 12 sets per week or 1.7 sets per day for one set, double that for two sets.

Even the big guys like KC can't sell out their "limited" editions of about 1,200 these days. These sets are fantastic from an artistic and historical standpoint. So even if I was the only one buying them that would be good enough for me.

I’m surprised that the woodland Indians ran out before the rangers.

Actually, I think John Jenkin's best work so far are his Indians - with interesting clothing and small details such as the designs on the muskets and the feathers attached to them. The colorful clothing, war paint and wolfskin hat make the rangers look plain in comparison.

You are right - I was thinking it was a bigger release - my bad

Really an outstanding rate of sales - what a great range of Toy Soldiers to collect - I love them all. :D
