Hi guys..i was always curious to know how is made this piece..i've only seen the picture on the K&C site so i'd like to see some other views of this item.If someone can post some pics..thanks!!!(Sorry the pic. i own for this item is too big to post, but if you have the tank you know what i'm talking about!)

Thanks Jazzeum , i didn't find a picture by the way..(it's a T62..sorry ..)..

Thanks..but it's the same pic i see on the site,i'd like to have a profile or other point of view ..by the way from what i see the wheels and tracks of the tank are not reproduced..it's a kind of diorama..

As far as how it is produced - the tank is modeled after the Iraqi practice of fighting many tanks from dug in emplacements, so the hull is not fully modelled, the hull is supposed to be in an emplacment and protected with sandbags. The hull and base are one large casting. The turret is a separate casting and can turn. There is a surrendering tank commander (half figure) in his open hatch. If this was blended into a ground base it makes a very convincing diorama piece.

That is correct. The T-62 is depicted in a hull down position, surrounded by sandbags and debris (including a broken framed portrait of Sadam Hussein). The tracks and wheels are not reproduced, but the deck of the tank and the turret are very well done. If you look at the thread with photographs from the NY Symposium, you will see a K&C built Iraq diorama with this tank being swarmed over by the U.S. and British Special Forces figures. Here is a link. Focus on the sixth photo in the seventh post on the thread:

Thanks Louis..very intersting pics and item..it goes well indeed with a little sand around..not so good in exposed alone on a shelf i presume..nonetheless a great item for a diorama..
