I haven't seen this thread, but has anyone seen Taking Chance from HBO Films? It stars Kevin Bacon and it is a story of a Marine Lt.Col. who escorts a fallen Marine from Delaware to Chance's home in Wyoming. Not truly a war move but it is a moving tribute. It was one of the best movies that I have seen in a long time.

There was a thread on this show in March under the title. Concensus was that it was a very well done, and moving show. I think the thread is on page 4. -- lancer

It was unforgettable. I sat in awe the whole time I watched it. I would have to say, it bordered on being a spiritual experience. The acts of individuals to prepare and transport the soldier's body took on a sacred dimension. If only we could do the same for people while they are alive.
