Hey Guys:

Not to worry if you broke the canvass/tarp support of your GMC Truck. Build-A-Rama just came out with a tarp that will fit the GMC truck (with or without the tarp supports). Excellent accessory and diorama material. Made of paper mache. It should be posted in Build-A-Rama website soon (per Mark)

The tarp looks rather nice. Seems thin and has good texture. This is an excellent add-on for a K&C truck! I wish I had picked up an extra to have one open and one closed.

It is wafer thin. Kinda delicate but a good fit with or without the canvass supports. You need to sand it lightly (use very fine sand paper) to remove some lints. The cab tarp fits perfectly well on the cab frame and winshield. The driver (African-American) is kinda big...helmet is hitting the tarp making it too elevated. I am using the M16 Quad driver (you can also use the driver of the Weapons Carrier)> I highly recommend this accessory.

I listed this picture in the BAR section but it seems appropriate here too...

Cheers!

I am a California native that lived in Washington state for a few years but have spent the last six years in the Arizona desert & absolutely love it! However, I commute to CVG, Ohio for work & am not fond of it at all! Where is home base for you?

Northwest Peoria by Lake Pleasant (a new part of town that is being developed...about 40 mi to downtown Phoenix). Moved to AZ on 4/2005 from Bridgewater, NJ after 27years.

Would be great if BAR produces a tarp for the kubelwagen.

Pierre.

We will have to meet up sometime then. I am out closer to the Cave Creek area although it is technically Scottsdale. Spent many an hour buzzing around Lake Pleasant from the air flying out of Deer Valley for fun. Hope you are enjoying the Valley of the Sun!

Opel Maultier Cargo Truck? I don't recall K&C making one yet. Did I miss something?

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the great feedback on the tarps. We will be creating tarps for most applicable vehicles. The GMC truck tarps will be available in Chicago at the show. We will probably have a few more surprises also.

Thanks for the continued support.

Mr John Gambale:

Thanks for your prayers. Looks like your wishes will be granted. That would also affect us. I like those tarps. It gives your model a new look.

AK Desert Transport, WC52 Weapons Carrier will be a good start.

noli-poli,

Thanks for starting this thread. Mark is doing some very creative and cool things for 1/30th. Here are the tarps I got from him recently.

Post script to Andy: Love your stuff and especially the GMC trunks and I really want you to produces some more vehicles with the ribs for tarps or just for effect, BUT PLEASE make the ribs (don't really know what they are called) stable.
