Not heard anything from TM for a while. I think the Mongol large tent caravan was released but wondered what was next?

I emailed them about the colors needed to touch up a chip in the paint of a figure and never heard from them. I assumed that they were no longer in business.

I cant wait to hear whats next. Would love more Boxer Rebellion, Boer War or the Mongols on foot. I would love to see something.

I see that there appears to be an economic downturn in Mainland China at present and suppose that this effects them too.
Eagle Designs haven't released any new vehicles for a while either.

But assuming that Team are still in the game, I'd like to see them add some more to their Romans line.

They make great figures which blend so well into my collection. Hoping just a temporary slow down and that they will continue in our hobby. The last release was in July, so not long ago. The caravan piece was a bold choice all the same, something quite different, but a possible gamble given its cost. I am getting the vibe that it is getting harder for businesses financially all over the planet, so it’s not surprising to see rising prices and which is not helped with ever increasing postage costs. Sometimes I get the feeling we have had the Golden years in this hobby, especially when I hear forum members struggling to find the money these days, which I can relate too also. Let’s hope TM chime in soon and put us in the picture. Robin.

I agree that the golden years of reasonable cost and good quality have passed. Thinking about figures out of China at around $45-$55 each. We are now at $85+$95 each and who knows where they will go next...

I reached out to Team to see if I can get some sort of status update; in the meantime, let's dial down reports of their demise and other such things.

I don’t know how you could possibly draw that inference.

^&grin^&grin Oh that sounds so pompous Brad !

Sometimes I’ve sent emails to Andy and being a busy man I know that he would not be able to reply to them immediately or that he might forget to do so. Was I to conclude that K & C had gone out of business if he didn’t reply to the email. Of course not. When I was in practice sometimes I just didn’t have a chance to return an email promptly and I had attorneys on the other side not return emails for months. It’s just the nature of modern life.

I assumed that they would have some admin staff to check mail.

When I have asked similar questions of KC I received a response and it was not from Andy. I would not expect him to answer questions on touch up paints. I find it hard to believe that the TM is flooded with email queries that they cannot bother to address minor questions.

There is no "admin staff"; Jack owns the company, Rose Chen is the POC for dealers, she's not qualified to answer questions on paint or other technical issues, she'd have to run those past Jack, he'd either answer or ask someone at the factory about it.

Maybe the dealer you buy from can address your issues; customers reach out to me regarding touch ups/repairs all the time, Brad/Jazzeum has a tremendous person who does both repairs and touch ups as well.

I've also done touch ups and repairs for customers as needed.

Thanks for the information, I did not realize that TM is just Jack and Rose.

Maybe someone here can help you with your painting question, we've got some very talented artists on this forum that can assist you I'm sure.

Goodness just popped back onto TF and seen the replies to my thread. Never implied they were out of business, just was wandering what was next out of their stables.

Great products from this company.

Gary
