Tell me about EA 005 - Field gun tractor and limber (1 Viewer)

What can you tell me about AE 005? I just picked one up because I just fell in love with this beast. I was just wondering what you feel is a fair price. I don't really care as I just wanted it, but am wondering if I over paid. Is this a scarce piece (I never saw one before - but I am a newbie to K&C)?

One just sold on ebay for $170 which I think is a fair price. At the height of the market about 5 years ago, I think they were in the $225 - $250 range and maybe as high as $300??

It is a fairly uncommon model (but not rare) produced at a time when there was a big increase in K&C quality but still has the old style opaque windows and is 1:32 scale. It's one of my favourite pieces.

K&C is redoing the set in 1:30 scale in Mickey Mouse camo with clear windows in 1:30 scale, but with no separate figure for $209

$170 is a good price, in my opinion. It's also possible that some may be selling in light of the new release. New one is nice but I'll keep the old one.
