Terminator Salvation (1 Viewer)

Im looking forward to this one.....No Arnie but should be better then T3.

A Terminator movie without the governor of California?

This one is not for me... I am a great fan of Mr. Schwarzenegger's movies...
:D

Cheers...

Yes, looking very very much forward to it. The future war at last. And I kept spoiling myself to a minimum. I did see some action-figure previews that gave things away and therefore I refuse to see any trailer and read any forum. But I have a lot of faith in the revival of this franchise. Much like Batman or the last two James Bonds.

Ever since I sat in the movie theater watching the original "Terminator" I have waited for the future war to be done. This is going to be great sci-fi even if the producers only do it half right (no Arnie, but I'll live with it). Bale is a good choice and will do fine. Can't wait, let the machines loose. -- lancer

Sorry guys, not even Einstien could come up with a plot twist to allow the terminator to look like this!

Ray, Mr. Schwarzenegger has been looking like this for quite a few years now. His latest movies used plenty of computer graphics to enhance his body. I guess that's something one might expect from a Terminator movie, right? No need to call Mr. Albert Einstein, Mr. Steven Spielberg would do!
:D:D

I still think a Terminator film without him we'll be like a weekend on the beach without any sun: boring!
:(

Sorry Uthred, I have enjoyed Arnolds movies as much as anyone, but there's a time when even the greatest of fighters has to say "It's Over" and retire. Arnold is past that point and I believe he can be replaced, just as Kirk, Bond, Superman and Batman.

I agree it should be a good sci-fi future war it might not matter if there is no Arnie as we know from the past films that they built thousands of Terminator's.
Bale was the perfect choice to play the future john Conner.

POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT

Highlight to read;

It seems there are rumours that Arnold might have a cameo in the movie, perhaps in a flashback, and cgi/voice-over have been mentioned.

As fas as I'm concerned, this possible new trilogy needs to be a reboot, and Arnold is not essential for a good Terminator movie.

Ray, don't retire the man yet! Several of my favorite movies were with him and I consider him one of the three greatest action heroes of Holliwood ever. It may be over to Kirk Douglas, he's 92, and it surely is over to the late Charlton Heston, the two others, but Arnold Schwarzenegger is not too old to be in a movie!
:)

He's in his prime!
:D:cool:

Saw it this weekend- it ROCKED- still not as good as the first but better than the others.

Saw it last night. Great movie, even my wife liked it. Only problem is I now have to go see "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past", I'm losing the will to live.

I'll be bock. Said in best Terminator voice. And he will folks. He has to stop being the governator first.

Possible spoiler....

Oh, he makes an appearance...or at least his digital self. :D

The Governator has agreed to do a cameo in Stallone's new action flick.
the rest of the cast being,Jason Strathem(transporter) ,Jet Li, Dolgh Lungren, Eric Roberts,"Stone Cold Steve Austin" and a few others.
I wonder if Arnie will be in his Predator gear .

Saw it last night and it was an o.k. movie but I did expect at least one major groundbattle with many endoskeletons (like the three prologues from the first 3 movies).

A bit too much Mad-Max for my taste. Post apocalyptic but desolate. I expected more carnage in the cities not somewhere in the desert. Flying Hunter Killers were cool though.

Perhaps it needs a second viewing. For now 6.5/10
